May 5, 2014 band lineup:

The Lords of Outland is a collective of like-minded musicians focusing on exploring improvisation, melody, noise, and sound art while acknowledging their jazz, rock, and blues roots. The group has developed original music ranging in a series of recordings inspired by abstract socio-political themes as well as authors Frank Herbert, H.P. Lovecraft, Phil K. Dick

Reconnaissance Fly is both aggressively whimsical and charmingly incoherent. Spam poetry, found texts, and original lyrics mix deliriously with jazz, progressive rock, funk, samba, free improvisation, a small Chinese gong, and an arsenal of wind instruments all deployed against the forces of tedium.

Ross Hammond/Alex Jenkins Duo: Guitarist Ross Hammond is serious about music and the message it carries: “That’s how life makes sense. Through music. I feel like that’s the best voice I have; being able to play and being able to translate what I’m feeling into what I’m playing.”
