Event Details

The ancient 5-string koto in existence for more than 2500 years, enjoyed a new incarnation when the 25 string koto was invented by Soju Nosaka in 1991.

Hengenjizai, Soju Nosaka and Kazue Sawai from Japan will give a lecture about their instruments and their music performance will include works by Akira Ifukube, Tadao Sawai and Yoichi Sugiyama.
