The revamped Burritt Room, the new Prohibition-style bar hidden away in the Crescent Hotel, is also proving itself to be quite the fine music venue.
All shows are on weekends and are FREE, which means you’ve got more cash to spend on their tasty seasonal and classic drinks and punches.
July 23, 2011: Lounge/New Wave legend Gary Wilson performs along with a special reunion performance by ’60s garage gods, Powder.
About Gary Wilson: Beck namechecked the musician in his hit single “Where It’s At”: “Passin’ the dutchie from coast to coast/like my man Gary Wilson rocks the most.”[4] Around the same time, he was cited by the people behind Sub Pop Records as a major influence on their company.
