Miss & Mister Punk Rock Pageant | Oakland

It is time to strut your stuff and come and claim the crown for the first annual Miss and Mister Oakland Punk Rock Pageant hosted at the East Bay Rats club house.

Contestants are going to be battling it out for prizes in three different rounds:

1. Fancy stuff (hey good lookin!)

2. Talent (can you open a beer bottle with your teeth? do a wheelie? rap? sing “kiss from a rose”? tell a joke? don’t think too hard, just do it!)

3. Street walker (a nod to the dirty East Bay)

Between rounds, we will be rocked by the raging tunes of Fukm’, Burning Monks, and The Groggs (Santa Cruz).

Don’t live in Oakland? No problem. They don’t care. Just enter. There are a limited number of spots and contestants don’t need to pay cover. $5 to watch.
