Event Details

Get naked or as bare as you dare at another nude protest against the infamous Scott Wiener’s nudity ban on its 2 year anniversary at Jane Warner Memorial Plaza at noon on February 1.

In 2015 the organizers are bringing a federal lawsuit to the City of San Francisco and they are grateful for any donations to help with the… um, suit.

They urge you to “keep the pressure on and let’s show the city that we are serious about our fundamental human right to do what we choose with our own bodies! Let’s stand up for our own rights and the rights of the rest of San Franciscans, as well as humanity as a whole – for what happens in San Francisco has a ripple effect on the rest of the country and the rest of the world.”

Public nudity is illegal in San Francisco as of February 1, 2013, which in turn means there is a slight chance you might get arrested if you’re naked.

The organizers argue: “However, the US Constitution protects political speech. If we get arrested or fined while at the protest nude, it will be a blatant violation of our 1st Amendment right. Should the city authorities chose to arrest us, it will greatly strengthen our case against them.”
