“National Night Out” 250+ Bay Area Block Parties (2021)
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes community partnerships and neighborhood comradery with the goal of creating safer and stronger neighborhoods.
Every first Tuesday night in August we invite neighborhoods to host block parties that feature music, cookouts, contests, youth events, and visits from emergency personnel.
Uptown residents are planning a grassroots event in collaboration with small businesses and bars to celebrate their fun and friendly community and share their love of Oakland with others.
They will have local events and activities and are planning a bar crawl. All are welcome.
