Nature in the City: Earth Day Party | McCoppin Plaza

Join us for a simple day of nature. Plant the park, have a bite to eat, and slow down for a minute to observe. This will also be a fun, musical, hands-on, journalistic, adventurous day, when nature experts will share their knowledge and inspire us to discover local nature.

Partners include: San Francisco Department of Environment’s Biodiversity Program and SF Plantfinder Database, Weaving Earth, Children in Nature Collaborative, and Children’s Day School with a special guest appearance by the resident Guadalupe Island Palms and their new neighboring plants: San Francisco native ceanothus, toyon, coast buckwheat, and ferns – who knew!
