Richmond | Oakland East Bay Symphony & Fireworks | 2013Celebrate Independence Day a day early; the Craneway Pavilion, inside the historic Ford Point Building on the waterfront in Richmond, hosts its annual patriotic celebration for the whole family featuring live music by the Oakland East Bay Symphony, food for sale, and waterfront fireworks set to live music on July 3, 2013.

Doors open. See performances by Hilltop Community Church Choir and Oaktown Jazz Workshops.

8 pm: Oakland East Bay Symphony concert conducted by Music Director Michael Morgan featuring patriotic, spirited works to celebrate America’s Independence Day, including a set of John Williams works celebrating that great American institution: the movies. Diablo Wind Symphony will join in for a set of Sousa marches.

9:15 pm: Grand finale with patriotic music accompanying the city of Richmond’s spectacular fireworks display over the water.

The evening will be hosted by KDFC Radio’s Dianne Nicolini.

The Craneway Pavilion is located on 25 waterfront acres and delivers incredible views of the San Francisco skyline featuring floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the entire event space as well as a 20,000 square foot patio, perfect for viewing the City of Richmond’s Firework Display.
