By now you’ve probably heard of the “legalize rape” guy, Roosh V (real name Daryush Valizadeh), a figure known for his extreme and misogynist agenda, which he promotes through his website ReturnOfKings and various other outlets.

We can’t hope to stop Roosh V from spreading his filth around the Internet, but you can protest these ideas with… The Pet Shop Boys. Yes, you read that right. Why? Well, planned for February 6, 2016 at 8 pm local time in cities all around the world and across the U.S., Roosh has created a large scale meetup event. The code question to ask is “Where is the nearest pet shop?” So now you can see where the Pet Shop Boys come in.

The original meetup has since been canceled, but you can still show where you stand on misogyny and have a really fun time at a Pet Shop flash mob.

Here is how it’s gonna go down:

The group will assemble from 8-8:20 pm to the indicated side of the arched exit at the Balboa Park BART station. They will wait there for others to ask the code question, and then will proceed to an unknown public location (likely a bar) to have their meetup.

I am calling for a flashmob-style gathering at the balboa park bart station exit area, starting up full-force at 7:50 and ending at 8:20, or until we’re pretty sure we’ve caused enough of a crowd-based confusion to prevent the group from communicating with one another.

If we can get at least a few men to join their group to get the name of this bar (in the event that we can’t stop them communicating), we have the option of following them there and getting them ejected and forced to disperse due to our large, loud, flamoyantly-dressed, pet shop boys-blasting presence which will rush in with them and fill the air with wild noise.

Wear 80s clothes for extra fun. Otherwise, show up in anything you’d like to make a statement with.. Any large, portable source of sound is appreciated — blast any pet shop boys track and max volume and dance. If all if you’ve got is your phone and the clothes you wore to work, that’s great too. The idea is to saturate the entire area with as many people as possible.

Please help make this a reality. Fight hatred with love, light, and 80s dance classics.
