Event Details

The Joint (don’t be confused by the name – this is a chiropractic office in Berkeley, not a place to smokey the dopey) hosts their grand opening celebration on Saturday, November 6th from 6pm to 10pm with live music from Russian singer Marina V and an Art talk about creating art while in Zero-G.

  • **Art Talk and Exhibit** with Frank Pietronigro, an interdisciplinary artist, educator and author who has achieved international recognition as the first American artist to create “drift paintings” where his body floated within a three-dimensional painting created in zero gravity aboard NASA’s KC135 turbojet.
  • **Live music** with Marina V, a Russian-born singer/songwriter with a “hauntingly beautiful voice” (LA Times) whose “melodic and passionate music” (Washington Post) has been influenced by the Beatles, Tchaikovsky, and Tori Amos.
