Redwood City | Old-Fashioned 4th & Ice Cream Making Party | 2013
San Mateo County History Museum | 2200 Broadway Street, Redwood City, CA
The San Mateo County History Museum hosts “An Old-Fashioned Fourth” within its museum, the 103 year old county courthouse in Redwood City from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday, July 4, 2013.
A Family Past Times is a fun-filled exploration of history featuring arts, crafts and hands-on demonstrations at the History Museum.
Make whirligigs (old-fashioned pin wheels) and an 1880s American flag to wave. Also, learn how to hand-churn your own vanilla ice cream (yes, tasting is allowed).
On Independence Day, admission is half-off: $2.50 for adults; $1.50 for seniors and students, and as always, free for kids five and under.
