Event Details

The San Mateo County History Museum hosts “An Old-Fashioned Fourth” within its museum, the 109 year old county courthouse in Redwood City from 10 am to 4 pm on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Children will be invited to celebrate Independence Day as they did in the 1880s, by making traditional Independence Day crafts to take home with them.

On Independence Day, admission is half-off: Admission: $3 adults, $2 seniors & students, and as always free for children 5 & under.

Activities will take place to coincide with the famous Redwood City Independence Day parade.

The San Mateo County History Museum features exhibits related to the use of natural resources, suburban development, ethnic experience and entrepreneurial achievement on the Peninsula from the times of the Ohlone Indian through today.
