Sacred Harp Singing: Acappella Singing For Everyone | SF

Photo | Via Dan Harper

Join Bay Area Sacred Harp to sing “The Sacred Harp,” an American tunebook with strong roots in the early music of New England and the southern United States. Singing is participatory, acappella, 4-part harmony.

Everyone is welcome with no performances or rehearsals, commitment, experience, or ability required, just a wide variety of people coming together to sing and socialize. A short singing school will be given at the beginning of the evening for newcomers.

This activity happens every 1st Wednesday of the month at the Women’s Building in the Childcare Room (2nd Floor) from 7 until 9 pm.
