Saratoga’s Independence Day Celebration
Saratoga’s annual old-fashioned patriotic July 4th Celebration for the community.
A free, small-town, family-oriented celebration of our nation’s founding, held on July 4th, from 9:30-11:00 AM at Kevin Moran Park in Saratoga, CA
Information
Location: Kevin Moran Park, 12415 Scully Ave, Saratoga
Date: Saturday, July 4th, 2026
Pre-Program Band Concert: 9:15 AM – jaunty, patriotic tunes by the all-volunteer McCartysville Band
Program: 10:00-11:00 AM – color guard; veteran’s salute; audience-participation choir & band songs; Voices of Freedom historical characters pageant, etc.
11:00 AM – Short family parade around the park to the beat of Sousa marches from the band
- Free popsicles for the children after the parade
- Bring a blanket or folding chairs. Sit under the trees for shade or out on the lawn.
- Shade and chairs for seniors and handicapped
- Free water, popsicles, flags
Note: Street Parking is limited. Parking is also available at or near Blue Hills Elementary School or Goleta Ave. with a walk over highway 85 on the footbridge connecting Azule and Kevin Moran Parks.
