Event Details

Strike Away is a group art show including 450 altered matchbooks by over 225 artists from around the world, including over 100 Bay Area-local artists.

You will find beautifully painted matchbooks, playful paper dioramas hidden inside matchboxes, matchstick sculpture, and much much more ranging in price from $5 and up.

The opening reception is on Friday, May 22, 2015, 6-9 pm at Paxton Gate’s Curiosities for Kids (766 Valencia St, SF).

The show is on display May 22 – June 30, 2015. It’s free and open to the public daily from 11 am to 7 pm.
