Get down with Groove Merchant Records’ very own night at Madrone Art Bar. On the decks will be DJ’s Cool Chris, Vinnie Esparza, B. Cause, Jon Blunck, and Jerry Nice.
Arrive early for Happy Hour (4 – 8pm) for $1 off drafts, $2 PBRs, $4 well drinks, and $5 mojitos.
About Groove Merchant Records
Opened in 1990 by Ubiquity Records president Michael McFadin, the shop was initially a subdivision within Rooky Ricardo’s record store on Haight Street near Fillmore. Since then, Groove Merchant – whose name was inspired by the ’70s jazz-funk imprint of the same name — has had several locations, but a single devotion to rare recordings.
