Here’s a round-up of fun and fabulous June festivals, street fairs, and events including San Francisco Pride, the annual North Beach Festival, the 2026 season opening of San Francisco’s Sunday Streets and more you can look forward to this June 2026.

2026 “Grillin’ in the ‘Mo”: Fillmore Summer Kick Off

June 6, 2026 – SF (Fillmore) – FREE – Kick off summer in the Fillmore at this annual community celebration, which typically features a BBQ, live R&B music, kids activities, dancing, bubbles, face painting, and plenty of neighborhood fun.

2026 Bluegrass + Old-Timey Rooftop Music Festival

June 6, 2026 – SF (Salesforce Park) – FREE – Pack a picnic blanket and head to Salesforce Park for a full day of free bluegrass and old-time music on two rooftop stages, with live performances, square dancing, food, drinks, and family-friendly fun high above downtown San Francisco.

Union Street Festival 2026

June 6-7, 2026 – SF (Cow Hollow) – FREE –  Kick off the summer with one of the largest street festivals in San Francisco with the two-day long Union Street Festival with live music, food and goods vendors, family-friendly activity zones, artists, makers and fun for all ages.

2026 Festa Italiana Street Fair

June 6-7, 2026 – SF (North Beach) – FREE – San Francisco’s only Italian street festival features Italian Marionette show, tarantella dancing, the famous pizza toss, live Italian music, a “symphony” of accordions, an Italian marketplace and more.

SF’s Pride Comedy Night & Cocktail Party 2026

June 7, 2026 – SF (Thrive City) – FREE – Celebrate Pride Month with a free outdoor comedy night at Thrive City featuring stand-up sets from Bay Area and national comedians, hosted by Sister Roma, plus cocktails, beer, wine, and to-go drinks in SF’s new entertainment zone.

SF’s “Sundown Cinema” Film Night in the Park 2026

June 12, 2026 (Season kickoff with 5 screenings June-Oct) – SF (All Over) – FREE – Sundown Cinema returns to SF parks with five free outdoor movie nights from June through October, featuring family-friendly films under the stars.

OMINODAY in the Park World Music Festival 2026

June 13, 2026 – SF (McLaren Park) – FREE – OMINODAY World Music Festival celebrates the legacy of youth advocate and DJ Andrew “DJ Domino” Ele with a family-friendly day of live music, dance, poetry, art, food, kids’ activities, and community healing at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater.

2026 Juneteenth Freedom Celebration & Block Party

June 13, 2026 – SF (Fillmore) – FREE – Eight blocks of the Fillmore get turned into a big community celebration with free unlimited carnival rides, six sprawling “districts” plus a classic car show, a block party, free wine tastings, live music and more.

2026 Northern California Soy and Tofu Festival

June 13, 2026 – SF (Japantown) – FREE – The annual festival celebrates all things soy with soy and tofu vendors, cooking demonstrations, live music, interactive games, and a tofu eating contest, culminating in a Soy and Tofu Dessert Competition.

2026 Golden Gate Park Band Festival

June 13-14, 2026 – SF (Golden Gate Park) – FREE – The annual two-day festival features bands from all around the state performing back-to-back concerts from 11am to 5pm in the Spreckels Temple of Music bandshell.

SFMOMA’s “Free Family Day” Free Museum Day

June 14, 2026 – SF (SoMa) – FREE* – SFMOMA opens up its doors to families for Free Family Day with art-making activities for the whole family and free admission for up to four adults accompanying each visitor 18 and younger.

Free National Parks Day 2026

June 14, 2026 – All Over the USA – FREE – In honor of Flag Day, enjoy free entry to all national parks and monuments including Muir Woods and Yosemite National Park, and free admission aboard all of the historic vessels at the Hyde Street Pier of SF’s Maritime National Historical Park.

“Sunday Streets” 2026

June 14 – October 18, 2026 – All Over SF – FREE –  Sunday Streets transforms San Francisco streets into car-free community spaces for all with free recreational activities, health resources, music, dance, and fun to neighborhoods across SF. The Sunday Streets season kicks off June 14 in the Tenderloin.

2026 Native Contemporary Arts Festival

June 20, 2026 – SF (Yerba Buena Gardens) – FREE – A beloved Father’s Day weekend tradition celebrating the creativity of North America’s indigenous peoples featuring a diverse array of Native music, dance, spoken word, visual artists, vendors, and crafts.

2026 San Francisco Juneteenth Parade

June 20, 2026 – SF (Embarcadero) – FREE – San Francisco hosts a big parade with vibrant floats and live music typically followed by a festival with incredible musical performances, food and drink, games, and so much more in celebration of Juneteenth. Please note that the details for the 2026 festival haven’t been announced yet as of 5/12/26.

72nd Annual North Beach Festival

June 20-21, 2026 – SF (North Beach) – FREE – One of the country’s original outdoor festivals, North Beach Festival spans nine blocks along Grant Avenue and around Washington Square Park with 150+ vendors and arts & craft booths, plus DJs, live music, beer gardens, Italian street art and the annual “Blessing of the Animals.”

San Francisco’s Annual Trans March & Festival 2026

June 26, 2026 – SF (Dolores Park) – FREE – Hit the streets with pride to march through iconic neighborhoods, raising awareness and visibility for the transgender and gender non-conforming community. 2026 event details & times have not yet been announced (as of 5/12/26)

San Jose’s 2026 FoodieLand Night Market

June 26-28, 2026 – San Jose – FREE – Inspired by Asia’s open-air night markets, FoodieLand is a family-friendly outdoor food festival featuring a carefully curated multicultural marketplace featuring 250+ vendors representing foods and flavors from across the globe. Plus there are carnival games and live musical performances.

2026 San Francisco Pride Parade & Festival

June 27-28, 2026 – SF (Civic Center) – FREE – The San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration and Parade is one of the largest LGBT gatherings in the nation with a giant two-day festival and a massive parade with over 200 contingents.
