Shelter-in-Place Update – as of 12/10/20 – SantaCon.info is not currently promoting this event as part of Santa’s effort to discourage large in-person gatherings. This does not necessarily mean no event at all – it may be happening in a different form, with increased social distancing or it may even be virtual – but details will not be posted here and Websanta encourages you to stay home & stay safe. If you want to support a good cause and can’t find details of one supported by this SantaCon, please find a way to support your community at a local level.

THE 2020 EVENT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19. DO NOT GO TO ANY LARGE GATHERING UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POSSIBLE SPREAD OF THIS VIRAL DISEASE. THE NEXT EVENT WILL BE HELD ON DECEMBER 11TH, 2021!!!!

“SantaCon” is San Francisco’s annual city-wide Santas-only pub crawl happening on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

This flash mob-type event brings together hundreds of slightly sober people dressed in Santa costumes parading around the city, visiting landmarks drinking at bars, and causing general mayhem.

And just so you know, wearing a Santa hat isn’t enough… get yourself a full-on Santa suit.

• Join the SantaCon Central Dance Party TBA at OMG – FREE – 1 pm to 8 pm with Santa Shots Specials: 2 shots for $7 or $4 each.

Please bring one new, unwrapped toy that can be donated to the San Francisco Fire Department. Santa Tom will be at Post St., Union Square to collect your toys.

The Main Rules:

> Wear a full-on Santa Claus suit

> Bring a new, unwrapped toy for SFFD Toy Drive

> Santas, remember the 5 Fs:

• Don’t F with police
• Don’t F with kids
• Don’t F with security
• Don’t F with bartenders
• Don’t F with Santa

Want to sing along? Here’s the Santa Songbook. From 1 pm on, the central meeting spot for Santas is either Union Square or OMG bar at 43 6th Street San Francisco.

Meet up friends, make new friends and start your bar crawls from OMG. Here’s a tip: there’s no cover at OMG.

Please note, not all bars welcome Santas, so be respectful and keep an eye out for possible “No Santas” signs. Everything is subject to change. Dates, times, locations… check SF SantaCon Facebook before heading out.
