The San Francisco Bay Area is set to host a series of bustling, open-air markets in 2024.

Bay Area Night Markets 2024

Downtown First Thursdays

First Thursdays: May 2, 2024 – April 3, 2025
Second Street, Downtown San Francisco, CA
Free | All Ages

A brand new free, all-ages street party, running monthly from May 2, 2024 to April 3, 2025, will bring thousands of people downtown for an exciting lineup of music, performance, food, shopping, and art. Starting on May 2nd and happening every month until April 2025, they’ll close some streets on Second Street south of Market. They’ll set up open-air beer gardens operated by 111 Minna and Natoma Cabana and they’ll also make dance floors in alleys and set up stages for bands. The goal is to get 10,000 people from San Francisco to come every month.

“Bhangra and Beats” Night Market 2024

Fridays: May 10, July 12, Sept. 13, Nov. 15

A free bi-monthly “Bhangra and Beats” night market takes over 3 city blocks of Downtown SF with DJs, street food, and 30+ unique local artisans.

Move to the beats of Non Stop Bhangra with Bay Bay Area sounds and artists, taste delicious street food cuisines, sip cocktails, shop from unique local artisans, and celebrate San Francisco’s cultural renaissance – all while gazing at the moon rising above the stunning Downtown San Francisco skyline at Bhangra & Beats Night Market.

Inspired by Asia’s open-air night markets, FoodieLand is a family-friendly outdoor food festival featuring a carefully-curated multicultural marketplace featuring 175 vendors representing foods and flavors fom across the globe. Plus there’s an array of entertainment; attendees can try their hand at activities like carnival games, watch live musical performances on one of our two stages, and shop at local artisans for treasured goods and novelty items.

Sunset Night Market

The Sunset Night Market, tentatively scheduled to return periodic Fridays hopefully starting early Summer 2024, will be popping up on a different merchant corridor or location throughout The Sunset District.

Inspired by the night markets of Asia, the brand new Sunset Night Market, which launched on September 15, 2023, was wildly successful, featuring local food, entertainment, activities, merchants, and artists. The goal is to relaunch as a monthly market this spring.

Chinatown Night Market 2024

Every Second Friday | 5:30-9 pm

Three blocks of Grant Avenue in SF light up for a monthly Asian-style Night Market every second Friday of 2024. Featuring a tantalizing array of culinary delights from esteemed vendors like AA Bakery, the Lucky Creation Vegetarian Restaurant, and Dragon Papa Dessert, alongside numerous other merchants, the night market promises a feast for the senses.

626 Night Market

– May 17-19, 2024 (Friday-Sunday)

Inspired by the famous open-air nighttime bazaars of Asia, this iconic Californian festival named after the 626 area code region of San Gabriel Valley, northeast of Los Angeles, features 200+ food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music, and entertainment attractions in an epic event that appeals to all ages.

Neon Night Market

April 6, 2024 – One night only | 4-9 pm
Chabot College, Hayward
FREE

For one night only, on April 6, explore 90+ lit vendors featuring food, artisans, and DJs plus a kid’s glow zone at the Neon Night Market in Hayward.

Friday Nights at OMCA with Off the Grid

Between April and October, every Friday, 5—9 pm

Optional late-night museum admission for purchase

Foster City Market

Every Wednesday starting April 3, 2024 | 5-9 pm

Undiscovered Block Party

UNDISCOVERED Block Party is a Filipino night market featuring a curated collection of emerging artists and merchants to celebrate San Francisco’s Filipino cultural district – SOMA Pilipinas! Enjoy local artisans, food vendors, art, and live music/dance performances. Fillmore’s Friday Night Market

Off the Grid at Fort Mason Friday Night Food Truck Party
