San Francisco “Masturbate-a-Thon” Festival | SOMA

The Center for Sex & Culture will hold its annual fundraising event showcasing solo sexuality on May 30, 2010 with Dr. Carol Queen, porn superstar Nina Hartley, Feminist Porn Award winner Jiz Lee and other popular erotic performers.

The daylong event not only features competitions, but also a masturbating workshop, erotic & burlesque performances, live music, product demos and a film screening from the Independent Erotic Film Festival

Events are FREE for participants (as long as they bring a pledge sheet for the fundraiser) and you can choose solo or team events, or compete for the title of “longest masturbator”, “fastest to orgasm” ,  “longest squirt” or “most orgasms” (which in 2008 was mind-blowing 31 Michael Hariprem).

• Just want to watch? voyeurs pay $25 which is a bit spendier than our normal funcheap listings, but we think it’s worth the, er… uh… “splurge.”

Doors will open at 10 AM for competitors seeking to best the current world time record (currently 9 hours and 58 minutes for males and 7 hours and 6 minutes for females), and the door time for non-competing masturbators is 2pm. Audience may arrive after 4 PM for the public viewing (aka “voyeur” seating).

So whether you masturbate or “masterbate” (yes, many people misspell this word because of typing with one hand) a good time will be guaranteed for all comers.
