The Yerba Buena Native Plant Sale is a chance to find local plant species that aren’t readily available at garden centers. This is a great opportunity to learn about the local natives while supporting the chapter’s goals of re-wilding the San Francisco Bay Area. These species are adapted to the local climate, soils, and habitats–and are also important to local fauna.
This is s great time to select drought tolerant plants in preparation for planting during the winter rains.
