The SF Municipal Transportation Agency, Mayor Gavin Newsom, the City of San Francisco and Livable City are pleased to announce the kick off of the 3rd Sunday Streets season on March 14th 2010 which shuts down city streets to traffic so that residents can take over for a day with all sorts of healthy and family friendly activities.
The 3.3 mile route travels along the Embarcadero, from China Basin in Mission Bay to Fisherman’s Wharf. Download a PDF route map.
Activities include free Salsa lessons, bike programs, rentals, repairs, kayak lessons, kid’s games and activities, Yoga, adult fitness and dance workout sessions and much, much more.
