Event Details

San Francisco performance artist Dohee Lee will activate four different spaces in and around YBCA and Yerba Buena Gardens over the course of the year, creating distinct performance installations for each season.

Drawing on her background of traditional Korean music and dance, shamanic roots, and contemporary art forms, Lee has created a new ritual for the urban environment that is meant to heal the relationship between man and nature.

“I passionately believe by practicing art we can commune with spirits to express and share our thoughts and ideas on vital issues such as identity, politics, nature, and spirituality.” -Dohee Lee
