4th of July Celebration

July 4 | 5 – 10 p.m. | Mission College | 3000 Mission College Blvd

Join the City of Santa Clara for a festive, family friendly Fourth of July celebration! Enjoy lawn games, live entertainment, and a wide variety of delicious food from local food trucks. Bring your blanket for a picnic with family and friends.

End the night with a spectacular fireworks show with patriotic music at 9:40pm, courtesy of California’s Great America. We’ll see you there!

  • Event starts at 5 p.m.
  • Security screening opens at 4 p.m.
  • Bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets
  • Coolers are allowed and will be checked at the gates
  • No pets, registered service animals only
  • No staked umbrellas or canopies allowed on the lawn
  • No BBQs
  • No alcohol per Mission College rules
  • No weapons
  • Free Speech is designated outside the venue perimeter
  • Motorists should exercise caution and drive safely in this area

Fireworks

Santa Clara’s 4th of July Celebration is being offered to the community for free.

Firework viewing will take place from Mission College’s Central Plaza and will feature patriotic music.

The Santa Clara Fire and Police Departments would like to remind residents that personal fireworks are inherently dangerous and are illegal in the City of Santa Clara. Learn more about the local ordinance on fireworks and how to report illegal fireworks on the Santa Clara Police Department webpage.

Free Speech

Free-speech groups include, but are not limited to, religious, political, social, and charitable organizations. Deadline to submit your application is Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 5 p.m.
