$5 Tix: 2011 Great American Comedy Festival | SF

This show will feature ten top Bay Area comedians auditioning for a spot among the 24 of the country’s top comedians, who will compete for the top spot in the Great American Comedy Festival, which will take place from June 15-19, 2011 in Norfolk, Nebraska, hometown of comedy legend Johnny Carson.

The Judge: The comedians will be chosen by Eddie Brill, talent coordinator for the Late Show with David Letterman. Brill will choose the comedians during this audition and others held around the country.

The Venue: The Purple Onion, the legendary club known for helping to launch the careers of Phyllis Diller, Woody Allen and the Smothers Brothers, is honored to showcase some of the best talents of the Bay Area as they try out for this national festival!
