We hope everyone’s new year is off to a great start, and invite you all to come celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the 53rd annual Oshogatsu Matsuri on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11:00am-3:00pm at the Center in Japantown! Enjoy cultural arts and crafts, community performances, mochitsuki mochi pounding, our children’s art contest, and more! Free admission, all ages welcome!
The Center is also looking for a few volunteers to help at the festival’s shikishi artboard station. Please e-mail us at programsevents@jcccnc.org if you are available to help. 明けましておめでとうございます！Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu! Happy New Year!
