California Academy of Sciences Senior Curator and Botanist, Frank Alameda talks about the living, growing, 2.5 acre roof of the new California Academy of Sciences building, one of the features that makes it “The Greenest Museum in the World”. He will discuss the construction of the roof and the part it plays in the sustainability of the museum as a whole.
