A spirited indie pop dance band with a reggae-pop past and a penchant for worldbeat and ska-infused arrangements – Rubblebucket is Kalmia Traver and Alex Toth, a duo out of Brooklyn, New York. They did everything from mixing funk, jazz, and pop to putting the marching band on the concert stage. During their time together, they forged life-long relationships with bandmates.

Their latest album appears to be a compilation of all they have gone through over the years: falling in and out of love with each other, Traver’s ovarian cancer and treatment, and Toth’s alcoholism and road to recovery.
