Short Film & Virtual Interactive Event: “Like After Death” (Dec 4-17)

Heredia Vision, a digital storytelling company founded in quarantine by Ashley Rodbro, has announced LIKE AFTER DEATH, a dynamic short film set to debut exclusively through All Together Now, an interactive virtual theatre space.

Written by Craig Cox (Blades of Glory) and Alex Trow (F Theory) is a dark comedy that leads the audience on a kaleidoscopic journey through the life and death of a social media influencer named Clarissa. Jumping back and forth through time and between the friends, family members, and followers she left behind, a portrait of a complicated young woman emerges, challenging viewers to examine the assumptions we make about people, and the filters through which we view each other.
Director, Ashley Rodbro (Oh, Hello, Moulin Rouge!), states “Like After Death examines how we go about building our perceptions of other people, and in this case, perceptions about a bright, complicated woman who is impossible to define, even if everyone in her life tries to do just that.

It’s the perfect first project to be created from start to finish under the Heredia Vision umbrella, where we focus on creating stories and creative opportunities with complex women. I’m thrilled to be collaborating with a blend of artists and creatives from Broadway, film, and television to tell a new story in a new way!”

As a part of this interactive screening event, the audience will determine which scenes make up the film each night and the order in which the film will air. Rodbro goes on to say “putting audiences in the drivers’ seat and giving them a choice over how they string the narrative together is an exciting challenge, both in terms of storytelling and in terms of technology. We can’t wait to share this fresh, thoughtful, and funny story with audiences.”

Confirmed cast includes: Lacy Allen, Emily Bautista (Miss Saigon), Ruben Carbajal (Hamilton San Francisco), Annie Cavalero (The Groundlings), Tony Cavalero (The Righteous Gemstones, Dirt)Harrison Chad, Rebecca Covington Weber (Beautiful, Hamilton San Francisco), Ashley De La Rosa (“The Voice”), Katie Flahive (“Nurse Jackie”, “Chicago P.D”), Vincent Hooper (Hamilton San Francisco), Colby Lewis (“Chicago Med”), Ashley Loren (Moulin Rouge!), Keetin Marchi, Will Roland (Be More Chill, Dear Evan Hansen), and Morgan Anita Wood (Hamilton San Francisco).

Tickets for the event will be $25 and screening events will take place on December 4th, 9th, 15th and 17th.
