Bike ride from the Mission to Sports Basement for a meet, greet and talk with blogger BikeSnobNYC and free beer courtesy of Lagunitas Brewing Co. The event promotes his book “Bike Snob: Systematically & Mercilessly realigning the World of Cycling,” out on local Chronicle Books imprint.
BikeSnobNYC is the witty blogger who roasts the bikers while extolling biking’s many advantages. If you’re a cheating racing cyclist or a clueless hipster on fixie, beware. But he’s a funny guy and there’ll be free beer and a nifty raffle of stuff from Knog, Timbuk2, Jamis Bike, WTB, Giro and Cyclocross Magazine, so it should be a good one.
