Event Details

The Museum of Craft and Design invites you to a special opening day of “A Roadmap to Stardust” and “Beau McCall: Buttons On!.” Meet the visiting artists and guest curators who will be onsite to answer any questions you may have about the exhibitions and their work. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to connect with the creative minds behind the exhibitions!

ARTISTS AND CURATOR MEET-AND-GREETS:

Beau McCall and Guest Curator Souleo: 1:30-3:00 pm

“A Roadmap to Startdust”
Neil Forrest and John Roloff: 2:30-4:00 pm

While you’re at the museum, be sure to visit the MakeArt Lab, where you can create your very own Beau McCall Button Necklace. You can also dive deeper into the exhibition with Beau’s haptic artwork, featuring identity buttons and custom-commissioned braille ceramic buttons.

After visiting MCD, explore the neighborhood and check out the Dogpatch Spring Market on 23rd Street between Illonois and 3rd St.
