Halloween Make-a-thon w/ Sugar Skulls + Scavenger Hunt (Castro Valley)

Join us for our first annual Halloween Make-a-thon at the Adobe Art Center, hosted by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. This is an arts and crafts event, where children of all ages and their families can create magical and spooky crafts and Halloween decorations with local artists. Make bubble potions at the Witch’s Hut station and craft wands and wings in the Glitter Grove. Make your own pumpkins, spiders, and ghosts to take home at our Pumpkin and Cobweb Cave stations. Visit the Sugar Skull table to learn about El Día de los Muertos. Once you’ve completed your crafts, grabbed a snack at the food trucks, solved the scavenger hunt, and filled your trick-or-treat bag with candy, take a picture at our photo booth. Don’t forget to dress up in your Halloween costume to participate in the Costume Contest. This event is FREE and open to all ages.
