Quick Draw SF: Monthly Live Art Party | SoMa
The Bay Area’s Paint Pens Collective and Never Ending Radical Dude present Quick Draw SF, a monthly live-drawing event co-curated by Shayna Yasuhara and Jason Furie.
Each month, ten artists are selected to come draw and sell their creations on the “art wall” available on the cheap. Everyone is welcome to come and draw, so bring your sketchbooks.
There’s also a “merch table” where artists sell swag such as prints, books, and original art. Credit cards accepted.
The monthly Quick Draw SF, hosted by Paint Pens Collective and Never Ending Radical Dude, is usually every third Thursday of the month, but for this month is will be Thursday, October 30, 2014.
They are gonna Halloween the heck out of it. Dress up – they will be holding a raffle – anyone wearing a costume will get a free raffle ticket. They will also have mini pumpkins for you to draw on and take home, and they’re playing horror movie classics throughout the night.
October’s Featured Artists include: Alexis Amann, Steven Russell Black, Jean Chen, Justin DeVine, Megan Kott, Jeff Plotkin, Eugene Young, Norio Fujikawa, Zachary Sweet, Ben Jelter, and Annica Lydenberg
