There’s a lot of free live music in San Francisco but Golden Gate Park Band has been doing it for possibly longer than anyone else. All concerts are free of charge and take place in Spreckles Temple of Music.

All concerts feature music of specific nationalities or cultures with costumed guest performers, dancers, singers, and speakers who will enlighten and entertain.

In its 2012 season, the 30-member band celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with patriotic and American music on May 27.
