In this 1963 film John Wayne flexes his comedic muscle in a cast of colorful characters of Donovan’s Reef set in the South Seas.
Filmed on location in Hawaii this action comedy was directed by John Ford and is showing at the cinema of the historic Maritime Museum located smack dab on the northern waterfront of SF. Enjoy popcorn, cookies, beer, and wine for a small donation ($2 beers), and a raffle at intermission.
Proceeds from Floating Films help support the education programs of the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association.
