“Conservatory Curiosities”: Free Outdoor Activities | Conservatory of Flowers
Check out a fun series of free outdoor activities that the Conservatory of Flowers is organizing on the terrace in front of the lovely old greenhouse.
Join the Conservatory’s community partners for family-friendly demonstrations and conversations exploring rainforest creatures, the use of tropical plants for delicious foods and beverages, and the ways in which people are inspired by plants in the arts and sciences.
These are free events on the Conservatory’s Palm Terrace. Tickets to the Conservatory are not required.
Activities change every weekend, so there’s something for everyone.

“Conservatory Curiosities”: Free Outdoor Activities | Conservatory of FlowersAre your Miltonia orchids a mess and your Phaelaenopsis failing to bloom? Whatever ails your orchid, the Conservatory’s Doctor can help. Conservatory volunteer Paul Bourbin has been in the business of growing and rescuing orchids for 30 years. He’ll offer repotting demonstrations, plant identification, and tips for caring for your orchids.
The doctor will be in between the hours of 12 pm and 3 pm to look at your plant or a photo of your plant and prescribe advice.
