We’re not sure if we’re supposed to share this, but what the hell! Why shouldn’t everyone get to drink for free?
We got an email from local concert promoter Blasthaus about a fun sounding cocktail event to help promote the Absolut Vodka and season three of LXTV’s “America’s Top Bartender.” The event at Vessel in SF, takes place from 8p to 11pm on Tuesday, July 27th and features cocktails, live music from electric violinist Caitlin Moe and DJ Mia Moretti.
Here’s the invite Sent by Blasthaus: “This is the Official Invitation to This Year’s Absolut Top Bartender Event at Vessel this Tuesday 8-11 pm. As usual this will be a great party featuring ABSOLUT® VODKA. Please RSVP and know that you will get a + 1 Guest for the special event once you have RSVP’d. See you at the party!
How to RSVP – Email ABSOLUTSF@LEGACYMP.COM and cc: rsvp@blasthaus.com
- RSVP tip: supposedly this event is for the trade industry and they may ask you for your “account” (i.e. which restaurant or bar you work at that serves Absolut) – we can’t advise you what to write, but why not put down your favorite restaurant or bar and give it a shot! we can’t guarantee anything, but usually for an event like this they just check names at the door and aren’t too fussy about the details – just make sure you look snazzy and we think you should be fine.
Why are we sharing this event with you? The email invitation we received said “Invite is not transferable” but the email also had a section for “Tweet This” and “Send to a Friend” so we’re clearly getting mixed signals about how shhhhh the promoters want this to be. You can’t have it both ways, so we’re going to err on the side of “Send to a Friend” and send it to all you funcheapers. – good luck and let us know if you were able to get into the event!
