Amoeba Music is proud to present The Afrofunk Experience as part of the Berkeley World Music Festival! The San Francisco-based group is at the vanguard of Afro-funk. Winner’s of the SF Weekly Music Awards’ Best International Act, they have been the high energy band behind Sila and the Afrofunk Experience for the past seven years. The Afrofunk Experience offers tastes of Nigerian Afro-beat, R&B, Hip-Hop, rock, reggae, and more…but the bottom line is their own original homegrown Funk.
