Sand Castle Day “Anime on the Beach” | Ocean Beach

Come have a day of fun at Ocean Beach building giant sand creatures and castles based on of your favorite anime and non-anime themes. Get back in touch with your inner Playdoh-loving child and take a break for a picnic and some creative dirt play

Non-anime sand creations are great too and sand sculptures with props are awesome! We were thinking of maybe doing theme teams and a contest if we aren’t too busy playing in the dirt, but this is just a low-key all-day event to have fun doing something active, relaxing and creative.

We will need things like buckets (Goodwill), hudson sprayers ($10 at OSH), towels, sheets, tools to play in the sand, umbrellas, water, food and carpool rides for those needing one.  Bring hats, sunglasses and sunscreen.

• Saturday, May 15, 2010 – 7am to 5pm
• No awnings, tents, canopies, glass or alcohol on Ocean Beach.
• Bring a picnic lunch and snacks
