“Ukrainian Day” in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park commemorates Ukrainian Independence Day (August 24) when Ukraine declared its sovereignty from the Soviet Union in 1991. This free event has shared Ukrainian culture with the Bay Area community for 25 years.
