Join the American Institute of Architects for a special screening of the 2008 documentary “Rem Koolhaas: A Kind of Architect” and the “Architecture Is… Best of Shorts” Awards on Wednesday, September 28 as a part of their Architecture in the City Festival.

Documenting the work of Rem Koolhaas, who designed the Dutch Embassy in Berlin, the Seattle Library and the Casa da Musica concert hall in Porto, see this visually inventive and thought-provoking portrait of this famous architect, writer and social commentator.

The evening will also include the The Center for Architecture and Design’s “Architecture Is…Best of Shorts” Awards, where they will announce the winners of their YouTube video and shorts contest about what architecture means.
