art.tech is The Lab’s second annual festival celebrating the intersection of art and technology- a festival of art, performance, sound, workshops, demos and lectures focusing on cutting-edge artistic experiments in the intersection of art and technology in collaboration with ZER01’s 01SJ Biennial, NEXMAP, and swissnex San Francisco. This year we are exploring technological experimentation, open source methodologies, collaboration, accessibility, and interactivity with special emphasis on biotechnology.

Opening Reception: Friday, September 17, 7 – 10 p.m.

Artist Talks: Saturday, September 18
2 p.m. | Meredith Tromble, Boo Chapple, and David Bowen
3:30 pm | Virobots, Jennifer Parker and Barney Haynes, Chris Basmajian, and Harry Crofton
5 p.m. | Performance by Harry Crofton with Sarah Bernat
