The Yoga Pop Up Project offers a free yoga class at the Asian Art Museum during Yoga: The Art of Transformation.
Artist Binta Ayofemi brings her Pattern/Language series to the museum on 3/27 to investigate transmissions of utopian pattern and form, from Persian carpets, texts, ceramics, and gardens, to contemporary disco and funk structures adapted into 1970s Persian pop music. For the artist’s Pattern/Language series at the Asian Art Museum, the project explores the concept of gardens.
Bring your own mat for the yoga class, or rent one at the museum for $3. Change clothes in the bathrooms located on the first floor. Signing a waiver is required to participate.
