Every month, Candy Churilla (NBC’s Last Comic Standing) hosts a stand-up comedy show featuring performers from the Bay Area and beyond at Backroom Comedy. On Wednesday August 25th, comedian Kurt Weitzmann headlines.

Kurt Weitzmann’s performed on Comedy Central, MTV, and on the stages of every San Francisco comedy club ever to come or go. …Weitzmann began doing stand up in the late 80s at the infamous HOLY CITY ZOO where such personalities as Robin Williams and Dana Carvey honed their craft. He also founded numerous Bay Area sketch groups, including NERVOUS LAUGHTER which was touted as Funnier than any given season of Saturday Night Live in the last ten years by BAM MAGAZINE. You can catch Kurt (as well as Howard Stone and Candy Churilla) on baitandswitchtv.com, an internet site he wrote sketches for and acted in.
