Badarikashrama’s 40th Anniversary w/ Free Food (San Leandro)

This year’s cultural program on Saturday, May 18^th will begin with a Odissi dance performance by Nataraja School of Dance, founded by Smt. Sima Chakraborty. A classical Hindustani concert will be presented by Sri Dattatreya Velankar an accomplished  classical singer, teacher, academician and the founder of Shadja Kala Kendra, Bangalore, India. A Bharatanatyam dance performance will be presented by students of Smt. Swetha Dixit, director of Kalaikoil school of dance. The final performance of the day is a Carnatic concert by Geetanjali school of Music, run by Akila Iyer.
