Event Details

Check out a unique art show in a barber shop. Enjoy the opening reception for ‘Vanity,’ a photography exhibition by local Bay Area artists, with live music and free beer and wine from 8 PM – midnight at Public Barber Salon in SF.

Join us for the opening of Vanity, a photography exhibition in downtown San Francisco at Public Barber Salon (just a few blocks from Union Sq), which is part of an ongoing series of photographic works by Bay Area artists. In selecting a non-traditional exhibition venue, each artist presents work that is indicative, resonant, or complimentary to the space. The artworks showcase and amplify the use of the salon through exploring relationships of action, gesture, and performance associated to vanity.

Some artists will also be displaying work from their own collection ranging from editorial to urbex.

Music will be provided by:

  • William Wardlaw
  • Marissa Guzman (Live set)
  • Fil Latorre
  • DSODA
