Freespace Pop-Up Community Center
Freespace is a pop-up community center focused on hacking the civic experience. It is hosted in a 14,000 sqft warehouse in S0Ma, San Francisco, envisioned and implemented entirely by you.
Freespace was originally just a one month project, but it was extended to two months thanks to successful Indiegogo campaign. They’re now open periodically (check their schedule). They host a wide array of events and projects like classes, music, art, silent discos, yoga, a free bikeshare, community engagement and field trips, and more than a few silly costumes.
When was the last time someone read you a bedtime story?
Feel like a kid again at a special cozy free winter event, where you come in your pajamas (or onesie), sip hot chocolate, and listen to bedtime stories.
Bring along your:
- pillow
- small blanket
- cup/mug (for the hot chocolate)
Doors open at 8 pm and close 8:30 pm sharp.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
