Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating three years of Beloved Birth Black Centering, the groundbreaking group prenatal care program built by Black women for Black women and birthing folk to eliminate racism-based disparities in Black birth experiences & outcomes.
This celebration of Beloved Birth Black Centering’s 3rd anniversary features a screening of the critically acclaimed A24 film Earth Mama, starring Beloved Birth alumni, doula, rapper and actor Tia Nomore. Plus a post-film panel and Q&A with Nomore and Black maternal health leaders.
Party includes a catered dinner, popcorn bar, film screening, panel discussion and Q&A with Tia Nomore, and time to hangout and connect. Beer and wine are available for purchase.
Ticket proceeds go to Alameda Health System Foundation to support Beloved Birth Black Centering. Tickets are free for current Beloved families and alumni. Additional donations are always accepted and appreciated. Donate here.

Beloved Birth Black Centering
Beloved Birth Black Centering is a “by us for us” group prenatal care program of Alameda Health System, the Alameda County Public Health Department, and the Beloved Birth Collective.
Beloved’s mission is to empower Black women and community to lead health system innovation & redefine prenatal care for the Black birth justice movement, working to eliminate racism-based disparities in Black birth experiences & health outcomes. Tia Nomore
Tia is an Oakland based rapper, actress, and activist. Tia is a mother, Beloved Birth alumni, member of the Beloved Birth Collective, and all around amazing and multi-talented human. Learn more about Tia Nomore:
