Event Details

Would you like to learn how to tell the difference between all those cute little birds in the San Francisco Bay? Join Naturalist Clay Anderson at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park located inside the Port of Oakland. You will learn how to identify some of the common and rare birds that live here or visit seasonally. Your new life-long hobby of bird watching can start now! There is no better way to start your day. Beginning birders and experienced birders are welcome. We will have extra binoculars to lend.

We will give out gifts (Free Chinook Book coupon App) for those of you who want to pick up a few pieces of plastic garbage on Oakland’s only beach, so that our little sandpipers don’t accidentally gulp down a discarded cigarette butt.
