Event Details

Paxton Gate’s Curiosities for Kids store is always full of good stuff and craft-making goodness.

This time, they are hosting a FREE Book Making Workshop in the back room from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Lovely local artist Lauren Chanel Cobb is running the show with a little help so they say they can handle all you crafty folks. No need to RSVP, just show up between 2-3 pm for a short little workshop that takes about 30 min to complete. Perfect for families but adults are perfectly welcome as well.

They’ve got supplies on hand… it’s really just cardboard, book thread and all the cool paper you can find but you can bring your own vintage, precious or special paper if you want to personalize your work. And, best of all, once they show you how it’s done you can make all the self-bound book you want on your own.
