August 5, 2015 Lineup

Host: Dan Mires
Guest: Ashton Tate
Guest: Theo Hull
Guest: Mark Smalls
Guest: Adrian McNair
Feature: Chris Riggins

Headliner: Marcella Arguello

Too lazy to shoot hoops and too tall to model, Marcella Arguello stands over 6 feet. Although she may be taller than most men, the only thing more intimidating than her height is her comedy. Marcella mixes a combination of genuine reason with a sexy suggestion of street. Deemed as “sexually and ethnically ambiguous” she appeals to everyone and is not afraid to tell you how she really feels about subjects concerning race, gender, relationships, family, work, music, pop culture and whatever else is on her mind that day.

Marcella recently appeared on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly and her Twitter account (@marcellacomedy) has been featured on TIME.com, CNN, Comedy Central and other various entertainment sites. She is a regular opener for Felipe Esparza as well as Jessimae Peluso and has opened for David Alan Grier, Norm MacDonald, J.B. Smoove, Hannibal Buress, Bryan Callen, Aries Spears, Al Madrigal, Joey Coco Diaz, Ian Edwards, Jamie Kaler, Sugar Sammy, Melanie Comarcho, Melissa Villasenor, Colin Kane and has shared a stage with Mark Curry and Paul Mooney.

She has worked at The Improv Comedy Clubs all over California and is a regular at The Punch Line Comedy Clubs in Northern California. She has performed in San Francisco Sketchfest, overseas for American troops and comedian Sean Keane referred to her as the “finest export from Modesto since George Lucas.”
